How to choose appropriate plasma power?

1, According to the arc-starting, the plasma power supply can divide into contact arc power supply and non-contact (button) arc. For use with CNC, should choose the non-contact arcs. To distinguish the two, just look at the hand torch whether there is a button. General current more than 100A plasma power, are not contact arcs

2, According to the thickness of cutting plate to choose plasma power supply current size.

3, according to the requirements of the quality of cutting section, choose the plasma power types and manufacturers. Plasma cutting, due to melting mouth above is bigger than below, there is always an inclination on the cut section, not like probably as vertical as flame cutting, this is a world problem. Ordinary in plasma cutting, inclination will be 15 degrees. Plasma power supply, according to cutting section verticality, cutting precision, ordinary plasma, fine plasma, laser plasma. At the same time, its price is also different.

4, plasma power with inverter type and silicon controlled type, the former light weight.
